Registration open for Living Well with Chronic Conditions Workshops

Crook and Deschutes County Health Departments are pleased to announce several Living Well workshops starting this Fall. These will be virtual-only (via Zoom). Cost is $10, scholarships are available. Participants in virtual Living Well programs still receive a hard copy of the Living a Healthy Life with Chronic Conditions book to reference as they progress through the workshop.

Living Well with Chronic Conditions:

This 6 week, evidence-based program is for people who live with one or more long term health problems. In a small group led by two group leaders, participants learn tools to help deal with day-to-day challenges of living with chronic conditions. Participants develop skills for managing life with symptoms such as pain, fatigue, sleep issues, stress, anxiety, difficult emotions, and depression.

Living Well with Chronic Pain:

This workshop covers the same topics listed above, with a focus on the challenges of living with chronic pain.
