SuperFood Snacks in a Snap

Join us as Amy and Daniel show us how to create easy heart healthy snacks so at your next gathering you can impress your family and friends with these healthy snacks. We will learn why certain foods help to protect our heart and then enjoy munching on Mexican Spiced Chocolate Pecans, Roasted Chickpeas, and Almond Deviled Egg Lettuce Wraps. We’ll also serve a refreshing hibiscus tea that is known to help with blood pressure.

COCC’s Prineville Campus is letting us use their teaching kitchen at 510 SE Lynn Blvd. It’s a beautiful facility with 20 spaces, so let’s have a party!

Recipes will be available to take home and we’ll have a few door prizes for participants. This event is free, but we do need to plan food purchases and the space is limited, so we ask that you RSVP here.
