Is your garden producing more than you can eat? Share Your Bounty at our table at CCPRD’s Movies in the Park on Friday evenings (until August 23rd) at Stryker Park behind City Hall from 6 to 8 pm. Just bring your clean, fresh excess produce and you can even take home some veggies you might not have! (Note: August 9th we’ll be at the Fair, so no Share Your Bounty or Movie that night)
Maybe you are not a gardener (or the green thumb is failing you). Share the Bounty is for you too! Anyone can stop by and take a few veggies home with them. So come on down, get a few veggies, take part in CCPRD’s family activities and then stay for an outdoor movie!
Other ways you can share your excess garden produce is to take it to the following locations: Soroptimist Senior Center from Mon-Thurs from 8am to 2pm; St Vincent de Paul from Mon-Thurs at 8am to noon; Craig’s Compassionate Cafe from Mon-Wed 9am to noon; and the First Baptist Church on last the two Mondays of the month at 11:30 am to noon. So be sure to plant an extra row in your garden and join the “Share Your Bounty” effort!
