Looking for a super fun family hike?
You have to try the Find A Ranger Hikes sponsored by the Ochoco National Forest. The Field Rangers will be hiking the trails too! Find a Ranger and you might get some cool prizes if you find them first! They’ll be on the trail after 10 am and into the early afternoon.
August 3rd is the Steins Pillar Trail, just 15 miles east of Prineville. Get trailhead directions here.
August 10th is at Lookout Mountain Trail. There is a great old mine on this trail. Get trailhead directions here.
